So with my little pony season 4 airing in early 2014, we have a long wait ahead of us, we have plenty of good fan content to tide us over until it's release, plus Equestria girls if it goes successfully.

But what do you want to see from S4 the writers have stated that it will have 26 episodes and it will be continuing the twilight princess storyline, they also mentioned taking the show in a new direction but still remaining faithful to the original two series, pretty much the same thing Micheal Bay stated about (transformers 4) a connection maybe XD? i think not! but whether this will be good thing or not we will have to wait and see, on April fools day M.A Larson tweated a joke, emphasizing that the new direction will be that the characters will change color in every new episode LOL! joking obviously, this and a few other FAKE spoilers were released by both Meghan Mcarthy and Larson such as Guilda being axed and no more Luna episodes, again these were obviously April fools jokes and were not to be taken seriously however some idiots did as expected
back to the subject of S4, so what do you want, it was stated by Mcarthy that the show would be more epic than before, so does this mean the story and plot will deepen? i personally would love to see the story develop more and go deeper into each characters history i really want to see a Luna and Tia ep.

Characters:
as for characters there is all the ones we know and love, plus there has been rumors of new characters floating around, such as Sunset Shimmer a character which Megan denied to be in the show, but I'm not sure if she is lying, as she did deny the twilight alicorn at first, and eventually it was obvious she was lying to protect the writers backs so as not to give out too much information, Sunsets back story seems really interesting, on her bio it stated that she was once a student under princess Celestia her self! and that she knows of a secret portal to another world (*cough*EARTH*cough*) and that she has powerful magic abilities, whether she will be a bad guy or a hero i don't know, if she is even going to appear at all, untill then we will just have to find out, also i want to see more involvement with Rainbow Dash and the wonderbolts, as that was a really good episode in my opinion and one of the best of S3, also a Rarity episode is needed as she just hasn't had enough of her own yet and i want to see rarity be developed more, same goes for Applejack.

Villains:

Throughout the series we have seen a variety of brilliant villains, Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, and of couse King suckbra, I MEAN SOMBRA!

but i really want to see the return of some old villains, NMM is back i the comic so we may see her mug in the show again, plus rumors were floating around of her teaming up with Chrysalis, but you only take these rumors with a pinch of salt, such rumors as humans making an appearance, which i would have no problem with, there was humans in g1, transformers has them so why shouldn't MLP.
as for classical villains, I'm talking G1 i have compiled a list of some old favorites from MLP G1 i would like to see

Tirek
Bray
Catrina
Somnambula

some of these guys would be awesome to see RE developed into FIM villains.
